Dear Friends,

I write this just three days before I fly to Mali, West Africa, with Chris Marine, our VP of Missionary Care.  We are going to Mali for the national conference of the federation of churches there. While we are there, we will also participate in the dedication of a new NT translation.  It is going to be an exciting time of Praising God for all that He has done.  It will also be a joy to spend time with some of our missionaries: Rich & Anna Marshall, Cindy Faile, Faye Obgartel, and Ken & Sarah Beckley.  Please pray for Chris & me as we travel.  Please also pray for our families while we are away.

Many of you have prayed for this new NT translation in Mali.  Many of you have helped to support it financially over the years.  Thank you so much for your support.  It is truly humbling to think of the lives that will be changed simply because they now have God’s Word in their own heart language.  To God be the Glory!

Rich & Anna Marshall were extremely busy in Mali during the month of January.  Not only have they been busy preparing for the upcoming national conference, they also hosted a work team from New York.  This team came out to build a church building in Mouzoun and install a solar power system at the guesthouse in Bamako.  We praise God for the men who went out to complete this work.

Finally, last month I wrote about our 2019 Niger/Benin Renovation Project.   This project involves making significant renovations to some existing facilities on our Niger compound.  These renovations are broken down into three phases.  I am thrilled to let you know that all of the funds have come in for Phase One!  Praise the Lord!

• Phase One – renovate the recording studio into an office building – $10,000  Funds received!  Praise the Lord!
• Phase Two – renovate the office building into some extra housing – $10,000
• Phase Three – install a well, pump, water tower to service the entire compound – $15,000

We are scheduling a roughly 10-day mission trip to Niger in early July.  Lord willing, we will take a team of 6 men to Niger to begin the renovations referenced above.  Contact us if you are interested in joining this team. 

Please pray for FBM.  Pray for our 2019 Project.  Pray that the remaining funds would be provided.  Pray for the mission trip scheduled for July.  Pray for my family while I am in Mali.  Pray that the name of Christ would be magnified all across the world.
