Dear Friends,

Happy New Year and greetings from Sunny Florida!  I pray that you had a wonderful holiday season and enjoyed a time of celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  My family enjoyed our time together and was even able to take some vacation at a local beach.

Here at FBM, we praise God for the completion of another year.  It is remarkable to reflect on all that God did in 2021.  We serve a great and wonderful God!

In December, I had the unique privilege of visiting the field of Nicaragua.  I had a great visit there with one of our newest National Partners, Jose Maradiaga.  It was such a joy to fellowship with him and see the ministry there.  Pray with us as we look to expand the ministry in that country.

January has already been a great month for us.  Rob & Jackie Ernst and Kathy Miller have visited us at the home office.  I had the privilege of interviewing Kathy in a service at Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven, FL.  She shared a testimony that discussed her 33 years of service in West Africa.  Despite floods, evacuations, and severe sickness, she confidently stated, “It was worth it all!”  Praise God for Kathy’s faithfulness!

In just a few weeks, Ken & Sarah Beckley will visit us in Florida.  They will be here for a few days before they head back to Benin.  Pray for them as they return to Benin.  So much has changed in that country since they were last there.  Pray that they will get settled quickly and be able to resume work on the Dendi translation of the Bible.

Thank you so much for praying for Rich Marshall.  He is now here in the US and is staying with family.  Please continue to pray for healing for Rich as he has a long recovery ahead of him.  Thank you also for the many gifts that have come in to help replenish our Missionary Encouragement Fund.  Your generosity will enable us to meet the unexpected needs of our missionaries as they arise.

On a more somber note, please be in prayer for FBM Missionary Comfort Jacobs.  Her husband, Dr. David Jacobs, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022.  Pray that God would bring peace and wisdom to Comfort’s heart.

Thank You!

Thank you for so much for your faithful partnership in the Gospel.  May God richly bless you in 2022!  Please contact us if we can ever serve you or your church in any way.
