When is this trip?
Tentatively June 15 – June 28. Please fill out the Brazil Participation form if you would like to join us on this mission trip. A deposit of $150 is required to reserve your spot for this trip. What are we doing?
We are assisting Baptist Mid-missions missionaries, Andrew & Tassie Comings. They are building a camp in Morros, Brazil. We would be helping with different work projects including: Digging foundations, mixing cement, brick laying, landscaping and other light construction work. We will also have the opportunity to help with an English day, English day is a full day of activities, culminating in a service where we sing English worship choruses and the Gospel is presented in English and Portuguese.
How much will it cost?
The cost is approximately $2,500 per person. This includes travel, meals, and lodging. Passport fees are not included. Individuals are responsible for their own passport costs.
Things you need for this trip:
- A passport. You will need to have a passport for this trip. If you do not have one or need to renew your passport, you can find that information by clicking here. It will take up to 11 weeks to receive your passport. We suggest you send in for a passport before March.
- COVID vaccination. All individuals ages 12 and older traveling to Brazil by air must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination (electronic or printed), (information found on Travel Advisory’s website)
- COVID Screening. In addition you will need to complete a Traveler’s Health Declaration (DSV) no more than 24 hours prior to boarding, and proof of a negative COVID-19 test, either an RT-PCR test performed within 72 hours of boarding or an antigen test performed within 24 hours of boarding.
