Dear Friends,

I am writing today with some exciting news.  For almost a year we have been getting to know Evangelical Mission Ministries (EMM), another mission agency that works extensively in Mexico.  EMM is led by Executive Director Paul Unruh who lives in Pachuca, Mexico and travels regularly to their home office in Pharr, Texas.  I have visited Paul in Mexico twice and have been to their home office in Texas twice.

After many meetings and much prayer, we have decided to join forces and merge our two mission agencies.  Effective January 1, 2020, EMM will become “EMM, a Ministry of FBM.”

EMM has a long and rich history of planting churches in Mexico.  Over 65 years, they have been directly involved in the planting of over 45 churches.  A key figure in their history is Walter Gomez, who founded their organization and led them for many years before going to Heaven.  In recent years, they have recognized a need to join together with another like-minded mission to ensure that the ministry in Mexico can continue to move forward.  You can learn more about EMM by visiting their website at www.emm-mexico.com

In conjunction with EMM, we have established a timeline for this merger.  This month, we are publicly announcing our planned merger.  In November and December, we will be working to finalize paperwork and ensuring that everything is in place for all financial matters.  In January, 2020, FBM will begin processing all new incoming contributions for EMM and its missionaries.  Accordingly, starting January 1, 2020, please mail any EMM contributions to:

Faith Baptist Mission
P.O. Box 866
Eagle Lake, FL  33839

Please include a note indicating your requested designations for your contribution.

Please rejoice with us as we celebrate this exciting partnership and open a new field of ministry.  We are excited to see what God will do through the joint efforts of FBM and EMM.

If you have any questions regarding this merger, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.

Sincerely,

Stephen Simpson
