Greetings from The Wilds, a Christian Camp in Brevard, NC. I am writing this during the annual conference for the Fellowship of Missions (FOM). FOM is an organization of like-minded mission organizations. We get together once a year for fellowship and encouragement. This week has been a wonderful time of networking with those who love and serve missionaries as we do.
Aguascalientes, Mexico
Last month, I had the privilege of traveling with my son, Josiah, to visit David Roberts. David faithfully serves our Lord in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He is pastoring a church, helping a Christian school, and also overseeing a Christian literature ministry that distributes books and materials to Christian bookstores throughout Mexico. It was such a blessing for us to visit him and to stay in his home. God has brought David through some difficult days in recent years. It was exciting to see how God is currently using David. Many of you have prayed for David. Thank you for praying for him and for partnering with him.
The Rope – Benin
Earlier this month, we published and distributed a new issue of The Rope – our printed newsletter. This issue focused on the Benin field and an exciting new project that we have begun. Jose Maradiaga – Nicaragua
Later this week, I will be traveling to Miami to pick up Jose Maradiaga from the airport. Jose serves as one of our National Partners in Nicaragua. It is our privilege to partner with him and the work he is doing in that country. Jose is coming to the US for roughly 6 weeks to connect with friends. Please pray for Jose while he is here. He will be traveling to several states and meeting with lots of people. Pray that these meetings will be a blessing and encouragement to him as well as to those he meets with. Let me know if you would like to meet with Jose while he is here in the US.
