Greetings from Florida.  We are praising the Lord that Hurricane Elsa passed us by without too much damage or concern.  Here are some updates from FBM.

GARBC Conference – Schaumburg, IL

Our Office Manager, Shanna Felice, and her family represented FBM at the recent GARBC Conference.  Shanna writes,

“It was a wonderful experience at the GARBC Conference this last week. My children have always wanted to fly in an airplane and this visit to Illinois checked off that box for them. It was enjoyable meeting all the pastors and their families, most of which support some of our missionaries, and thanking them directly. For the children, we gave out coloring pages for them to complete. The page had a map of the world and listed all of the countries our missionary families are located along with a fun word scramble and hidden FBM logos for them to count. If they returned the coloring page, they would receive their very own Faith bear. We had a great return of the coloring pages and all of the Faith bears were given away. My family and I were honored to represent FBM at the GARBC Conference and look forward to FBM returning again in the future.”

Upcoming Travels – Nicaragua

Next week, I will be travelling to Nicaragua to meet with some missionaries and nationals.  They have reached out to FBM and asked us to consider partnering with them.  I am going to meet them and to see their ministries.  Pray for safety as I travel and that God would direct us all very clearly. 

New Hampshire Trip

In May, Chris & Diane Marine led a team to Virginia to complete some housing renovations for one of our missionaries.  Now, they are planning a trip to New Hampshire in August to help another one of our missionaries with some renovations to their house.  Pray that all of the details of this trip would come together.

Prayer Request – COVID

Please remember to pray for our missionaries.  Many of them live in places where COVID is still raging.  Some of them continue to experience severe lockdowns.  In some countries, the hospitals are overwhelmed and turning people away.  While COVID seems to be fading here in the US, it is a very different story in other countries.  Thank you for praying for our missionaries.
