The following information answers some of the most frequently asked questions that we get in the home office. What follows are a brief descriptions of the various ways in which you can support FBM and its missionaries.
Automatic Debit (ACH)
This method allows you to authorize FBM to withdraw your monthly support, directly from your bank account. Once you complete the Authorization form, monthly withdrawals will be made from your account until you notify FBM of a change. Withdrawals can be changed or canceled at any time. To sign up please fill out the ACH Form, attach a voided check and mail in the return envelope provided. The ACH Form can be found here.
Credit or Debit Card
You can make a secure online donation with a credit or debit card through our website at www.faithbaptistmission.org/give-now. You can also choose to have this payment recurring. For recurring payments the day you setup the donation will be the date it automatically submits future donations. There is a small transaction fee when using this method of support, and you have the option of covering that fee when you make your donation.
Bill Pay
You can send monthly support through your bank’s electronic banking system. If your bank account includes a bill paying service, you can set up one time or monthly donations through this service. Payee name/nickname: Faith Baptist Mission, Address: PO Box 866, Eagle Lake, FL 33839 Phone: 863-229-7938. Account number: list the missionary/ministry you desire to support.
Check
You can mail a check to Faith Baptist Mission, PO Box 866, Eagle Lake, FL 33839. On the check in the memo section please write the designation.
Qualified Charitable Distributions
Many of our donors have begun using a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to support their missionary. This option is often very beneficial for those who are over 70 1/2 and who have an IRA because it helps lower their taxable income and meet their Required Minimum Distribution at the same time. You do not have to use all of your RMD as a QCD. You can contribute a portion of it if you would like. Contact your financial advisor to see if this is a good option for you.
Stock Contributions
FBM is able to receive contributions of publicly traded stock. Some donors contribute stock that has increased in value so that they can avoid paying capital gains tax. To make a stock contribution, please call our office so that we can connect you with our financial advisor.
Amazon Smile
Shop online and support missions. AmazonSmile is a simple way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. AmazonSmile is available at smile.amazon.com on your web browser and can be activated in the Amazon Shopping app for iOS and Android phones. When you shop , you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added benefit that AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. Provide Your Email Address
Providing us with your email address is immensely helpful. It allows us to email your contribution receipts which helps us cut costs on printed material, ink and postage. It also allows us to connect with you via our monthly e-newsletter. Giving us your email is the best way to stay informed about what is happening at FBM. You can provide your email address by sending us an email at info@faithbaptistmission.org , please let us know your would rather have us email your receipts instead of sending printed copies. Please include your name and address to make sure we get the right contact information.
Mistakes
From time to time, we do make mistakes. The most common mistake is when we accidentally post a contribution to the wrong place. You can help us with this. When you receive your contribution receipt, please review it and make sure it looks correct. If anything looks wrong, please reach out and let us know. We can easily fix errors and issue corrected receipts.
